Your job will be to understand student needs within the faculty, propose ways to meet those needs and then put in place the resources and channels to make it happen. This could include resources for special needs students, procedures for appeals and grievance, well-being workshops, communication channels, orientation activities, social and group bonding events.
In addition, you will work to develop the academic advisory program to enable students to approach their faculty advisors for assistance
Managing not only a network of students trained to reach out to and support students who have personal or academic problems, you will also co-ordinate the training of staff (CARE members) who support both students and staff in crisis
Finally, when students require further care from the health service or are in crisis, you will liaise with the student and UHWC to ensure that they receive the right support and care.

This special person will work with the Counselling Centre to deliver support in a designated Faculty by employing the following qualities:
- An honours degree in psychology, social work or counselling
- The ability to build sound working relationships at all levels and to earn respect using credible influencing and consulting skills
- A ‘can-do' approach which takes the initiative and makes change happen where necessary, while taking people with them

Full-Time Counsellors/Senior Counsellors; National University of Singapore (NUS)

Responsibilities:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide time-limited individual, couples and/or group counselling, crisis intervention, psychological assessments, and outreach services to students and/or staff.
Requirements:
- Doctorate or Masters degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, Counsellor Education or Clinical Social Work (preferably accredited by internationally recognized professional organizations like APA, CPA, BPS, APS etc.)
- Previous experience working in a University Counselling Centre (preferred)
- Able to work with students and staff of culturally diverse backgrounds
- Research, program evaluation and supervisory abilities would be an advantage

YMCA Project Bridge has a vacancy for the below post: Position: Counsellor/Youth Worker
YMCA Project Bridge is an outreach center (a stone's throw away from Woodlands MRT Station) with the goal of reaching out to Out-of-School Youths (OSYs) and Youth at Risks (Y@R) aged from 13 to 19.
We are looking for an individual with the PASSION to reach out to these youths and guide them back on the right track.
